MARSHALL MAGIC
In the morning I again visited Marshall Magic including the children’s art exhibit in the completely refurbished Madison Arts Council. Again this is the kind of small town activity I enjoy.
In the evening people living in Capitola Mill apartments where I live along with invited guests gathered for mint juleps and delicious snacks to watch the Kentucky Derby. We each bet $1 on each of three horses and the winning horse, Golden Tempo, who was last at the last quarter pole suddenly stormed to the front and won the race by a nose. The woman who bet $1 on Golden Tempo won $43.
