OFF TO GENEVA
First thing in the morning I got responses. At first it seemed doable, that I wouldn’t be too much of a nuisance. I searched for air tickets. A ticket was expensive, partly because it was shoulder season, partly because Trump has made jet fuel much more expensive.
I bought the air ticket and told folks who were invited to lunch that I was going to Geneva in a week. Everyone was shocked, except me, everyone thinking I was flipping out.
Tuesday evening at the Cinco de Mayo party for Capitola residents I announced that I was flying away in a week after being back from Germany for ten days.
