THUD
On Wednesday morning I found out that my mad hatter idea was a mad hatter idea. There were complications both with the beginning and the end of my projected trip. My decision was too sudden, people needed warning especially when someone barges in on their long planned vacation. I suddenly realized I was causing trouble and that everyone was going to get along best without me. It was all my idea, I wasn’t invited, and it wasn’t a good idea. By 11 a.m. I had cancelled my ticket for a full refund, only possible in the first 24 hours. My sudden trip to Geneva was over before it got started.
In the evening my son Tom came for dinner to learn from Susie and Todd, who had been to Geneva a number of times, as had I, what Tom and family could visit in a week. I sat there mute. They’ll have a great time.
