DINNER AT TOM AND KATHY’S HOUSE
This week was spent preparing my apartment for visitors in my unending effort to move into Capitola. I cleared my stored things from the first floor of Capitola and disposed of stuff that I brought from the locker in Swannanoa. In the evening I was invited to a family dinner at my son Tom’s house where his wife, Kathy, is recovering from the replacement of both or her knees. After just a couple of weeks of recuperation she is already able to walk stiff legged around the house and is going through the daily painful experience of forcing her knees to bend again before they lock up if she doesn’t do her therapy. My grandchildren Hannah and Caroline were back for the Christmas vacation from Boston where they are going to school.
oh my! Kathy did both knees at once! What a trooper
