88TH BIRTHDAY
I knew I should be packing for my trip to England on Tuesday. But I was caught between realities. I was still in Marshall but only barely. I was letting go as I do on every trip but was unwilling to shift over to letting go and so puttered around all day until in the late evening when Susie came by to spend the night before we took off for Knoxville at 6 in the morning. Suddenly I panicked and began to pack and worry about trip arrangements. In the middle of the night Susie was awake in panic because her ETA visa to get into Britain hadn’t arrived and I woke up at 2 for an hour trying to fill out information for a boarding pass and trying to reserve aisle seats for Susie who was suddenly in great pain from an injury to her chest which originated by falling off a dock at Latke Fontana a week ago, making it hard for her to lie down or to get in and out of a seat.
Before panicking in the early evening Tom and Kathy came for a birthday dinner at MAD Co Brewery where we had a relaxed good time.
happy belated birthday, Bill!!
