HAARLEM STREETS

Today we went on a long walk around Haarlem, which doesn‘t seem to be a huge town, at least the downtown commercial section, often in older buildings. Here was a mixture of the beautiful facades on pointed buildings from Vermeer paintings, the constant canals and vivid tulips, along with modern Haarlem. It is a marvelous town to be in for the next two weeks. Here is some of what we saw as we walked.

Alas no photos
And then, there they were! I could stay there a while!
