CELLE AGAIN
We had breakfast in Vater, a chain of bakeries but without a chain feeling with people lined up to by their daily brotchen and bread. We had eggs and brotchen and coffee.
Then, because we have a rental car and it is so easy to get around, we drove to Celle again where Susie persuaded me to shop for pants at C&A. Three pairs, one corduroy and one linen, were 70 euros or $85. Then we searched for and found the Design store where I bought my cuckoo clock a year ago and where they have beautiful contemporary objects for the house.
In the evening we visited Heinrich and Elke and had Kuchen and tea and talked for an hour and then came back to our apartment and fell in bed.
