REHOBOTH BEACH

It was our last day at the beach together. The day began with heavy rain and distrant thunder and lightning. But in the late morning the began to brighten. Andrea and John Boright drove back to Washington. The rest of our group went to the center of Rehoboth Beach, a double strip of holiday shops selling saltwater taffy and outrageous t shirts. Our destination was a lapidary shop with all kinds of stones and fossils. Then we walked back along the boardwalk to our mansion.

In the late evening there was a gorgeous flaming sunset with shades or orange, red and purple. And then we started to pack up for our trip home.
