SHOPPING AND RAINDOG LOUNGE
The first yoga group took the shuttle at various times to Leon and flew home yesterday. So there were no planned activities today and I was free to wander and shop. I walked down Hidalgo street which I have learned on this trip was one of the heroes of the Mexican revolution, taking photographs as I went and found two stores near the Aurora artists center that have beautiful things with which to brighten a home. One of the great pleasures in Mexico is buying hand made objects because the design taste and color selection of Mexicans is so striking.
Then in the evening our small group went to the Raindog Lounge for dinner and stayed to listen to the impressive (and loud) band and to watch the dancing which our group joined into.
