MARSHALL LANTERN PARADE

There were workshops for children and adults on lantern making leading up to the night of the parade so there were more than 100 people who showed up on a cold but clear night with their lighted (digital lights) lanterns. After a pep talk at the First Presbyterian Church parking lot the parade, led by a giant star, walked the length of Main Street and back to the church, singing as they walked.

This was another of the community events drawing excited children with their parents from all sections of community.
