MADISON MIDDLE SCHOOL CHILDREN’S MUSIC CLASSES PERFORM
The music prized in Madison County is not Beethoven but bluegrass and so the music taught in the schools through the Madison County Arts Council is bluegrass. In the past children must learned at home to play the fiddle or guitar and some probably still do but to hold onto the mountain culture bluegrass is now taught in school. These children were showing off what they had learned.
