AN EVENING IN MARSHALL
Lainard, an artist, who lives in my building, Capitola, recently got married and is moving with his partner to Oaxaca, Mexico, maybe for good, but at least to try it out.
So tonight there was a going away dinner party in the first floor common room, a potluck with Mexican food and drinks, with food enough for twice the thirty or so residents who showed up. It was fun for all of us who live in the building to socialize with each other.
Following the meal I walked across to the artist’s studios on the island to listen to the second of Primrose’s peaceful evenings beside the tea tent as a visiting group performed.
Finally I ended the evening with watching the Giants beat the Eagles on my giant virtual wall to wall ten foot high screen inside my Vision Pro goggles and at midnight went to sleep.
