HELENE ANNIVERSARY CONTINUED
The day started with speeches by Jeremy and others on the Courthouse steps. The theme was togetherness in spite of political differences, neighbor helping neighbor.
This continued into the evening with ballad singing in Zadie’s and the sharing of feelings about the flood by Josh Corpus, owner of Zadie’s and a Warren Wilson College graduate and Sheila Kay Adams, mentor of ballad singers and friend of Josh.

And in the late evening there was raucous music to the beat of drums at Chadd’s Tattoo Parlor.
