BALLAD SWAP AT ZADIES MARKET
Twice a month on Wednesday evenings a group of mostly women but some men gather to sing old time ballads, usually with out accompaniment, to each other and to an appreciative audience. There is some clatter of dishes because the audience is often eating and even some background conversation. But, for everyone, it is a special event.
