ARRIVAL OF TOM’S FAMILY
Today was another good breakfast for me in the sunshine on the terrace by Elke and Heinrich’s house. Then we make a quick ten minute visit to old friends Heiner and Ulla’s home with their son Jens, short so that wouldn’t burden them with a formal visit with cake and coffee since Ulla has health problems. But it was very good to see them and to reconnect for a few minutes. And then I was off to the Celler Bahnhof (train station) by bus to wait for my son Tom and his family who came in on the same train from Hannover.
The rest of the day was walking around Celle with lunch outdoors in the central square by Kaffee Kiess with singers filling the square with music. Then Tom and I took the bus back to Winsen and had a brief supper and I went to bed early, dead tired.
