SORTING AND PACKING
Today I am finally a renter in second floor Apartment 206, Capitola Mill, 177 Baileys Branch Road, Marshall, NC. on the bank of the French Broad River. But I am still sorting and packing and throwing things out with boxes filling the living room in my house at 140 College View Drive. The actual move seems a distant dream. But with Susie’s help I’ve made the living space begin to look bright and colorful. Todd and Tom lugged some furniture up the stairs. I am going to be living up a long flight of stairs on the second floor. The elevator was destroyed by the flooding of Helene so we are leaving the heaviest stuff until it is fixed and inspected sometime next week.
