VALENTINE’S DAY
I spent the day at home unpacking my treasures from Mexico, brilliant paper flowers and solemn Virgins of Guadeloupe. But at 5:30 p.m. Susie was in town and we joined my son, Tom, and his wife, Kathy, for Valentine’s Day drinks at 5 Walnut Street in Asheville where there was a live band which I filmed and am putting here. And then Susie, too tired to drive to Marshall, and I went out to eat at a Thai restaurant and then she spent the night here.
