IN LIMBO
I arrived in Asheville yesterday at 3:30 p.m. and Susie picked me up. I think I slept much of the rest of the day and was up at 2 a.m. and tried to get my bearings. I was still in Virampur, but I was sitting at my round table with a red table cloth in Swannanoa, in three weeks I would be in Geneva. I wasn’t anywhere.
Susie spent the night. She made a good breakfast and then at 11 we went to the airport to pick up my bags which arrived after I did. We came back to town and had lunch at Heiwa, a Japanese restaurant. Then I slept most of the rest of the day.
