STUCK AT VIRGINIA BEACH

Today a group was to go to the Virginia Beach Museum in the afternoon. I took a nap to get ready. But when I woke up Craig had gone back to Charlottesville to be with his mother and avoid Covid. Lyle and Susie had both tested positive for Covid, Lisa didn’t feel well and everyone else was sitting out on the wide deck to avoid Covid. John and Gerlinde Boright locked in on the first floor both feel quite sick, with John testing positive and Gerlinde, throwing up but not positive. It is a grey, gloomy day and the temperature is 55 F, not really cold, but not that pleasant either. So it looks as if the Mahy reunion is winding down. Since we all came by car the question is how we can get home by car with a sick person in each car. Do we drive all the way, eight hours in our case, with the windows open? I did go for a walk on the beach and will include a few photos.
And then after the gloomiest of days we had the most spectacular sunset.
