MOSHER ASHEVILLE CHRISTMAS

Friday night Susie, Todd and I joined my son Tom and his wife Kathy with their two daughters, Hannah and Caroline for our family Christmas. We celebrated in the basement of their new house because the upstairs is being renovated. For some reason I didn‘t take any photographs. We had a wonderful evening with a great buffet and a fire playing on the large tv to give ambiance. Each person had one person designated for them to give a present to. But Tom had gone on a thrift store search for inexpensive presents for every one. He gave me a $2 electronic air cooler that you hang around your neck which blows ionized arctic air on your neck. It has a rechargeable batter and actually works although it looks pretty goofy.
Susie gave Hannah a scanned in story that Kathe wrote years ago pasted into an old German book.

It was a wonderful Christmas but it should have been photographed and I failed.

But as an experiment I made a very short video using two cameras on my iPhone which is supposed to produce a totally immersive view in what is called by Apple Spatial video. But alas, it can only be seen on the new $3500 Apple Vision Pro Headset which hasn‘t been released yet. So the only way you can see what the evening was like is to look at the video through the link below (if it works which I doubt). But all you will see, if it works, is a flat screen ordinary one camera video. As a replacement I took screen shot photographs of the rather banal flat screen video which I will tried to include here but failed. Altogether a flop of a report on a marvelous evening.
