HAARLEM BUILDINGS
Just over the border, a short distance away, the white German houses with orange tiled roofs all appear exactly alike. And here in the Netherlands, with the same climate, the houses have a completely different look. There is great variety with many of the houses having sharply peaked roofs but with a facade at the top serving no purpose except to look marvelous. I’ll show examples of Haarlem houses on this page.
