FIRST DAY IN MARRAKECH

The first day in Marrakech I finally had Wifi fast enough to download and process the 48 MP photographs that my new iPhone 14 plus allows. This allows radical cropping without photographs turning fuzzy while Susie explored the market.

In the afternoon we wandered in the market where we first paid 8 dirhan, 80 cents, to visit the Secret Garden, an extensive renovated garden from years ago with trees and plants of every sort, fountains and tiled streams and a pleasant coffee shop. And then we walked through the colorful markets to the carnival atmosphere of the main square in Marrakech where there were performers of all sorts, many outdoor cafes and fruit stands. And late in the evening we ate dinner on the rooftop terrace of the Nomad Cafe and went back to our elegant Riad completely worn out.
