COVID DAY 3

This was the day I thought I was going to write the philosophical essay on Covid. But instead I coughed and rattled my way through the day drifting in and out of sleep. My kids told me to drink a lot, but it was too painful to drink. I managed to slowly swallow some of. the healthy coconut water Susie left for me and the violent orange Gatorade Tom preferred. I didn’t eat anything all day except a little jello. I essentially checked out and hung on for dear life and slipped in and out of sleep in my comfortable stressless chair and waited for Paxlovid to start my recovery. I have never felt this sick and not had a fever or had trouble breathing. Something was working but I felt awful.
