MAY 27, FRIDAY

ART SHOW COLOR

On a cool, windy, sunny Memorial Day weekend Asheville was filled with tourists. Susie and I wanted to go to the Asheville Art Museum but it was closed because of low water pressure of all things. But across from the museum, filling Pack Square where the high obelisk monument to NC civil war governor Vance, a racist slave owner, had recently been removed and replaced by a love sign, there was a traveling art exhibit of out of town artists who loved brilliant colors. You can evaluate the quality of the art for yourself.
