PARIS FLEA MARKET — LOUR DE VILLOUTREYS

I am skipping the photographs of our yesterday trip wandering about the left bank through art galleries because the Paris flea market this Saturday morning was so overwhelming. I took hundreds of photographs and will only be able to show a few so am using two days to show a few of them. This Saturday afternoon is when I am finally getting an Internet connection which has stopped working the last four days so I can catch up on these posts.

We had read that the outskirts of the flea market are the place for cheap goods at cutrate prices and that we needed to keep walking to find the beautiful shops. So after leaving the Calingincourt Metro we followed a very elegant Parisian family past the cheap shops and this is the shop that they led us to where Susie bought a chemical shop miner’s jacket in a beautiful shade of indigo. These photographs are of this shop only. The shop reminded us of the house of our friend Bev Ohler and the photos of this shop today are for her as a guide to her next trip to Paris.
