WALKING THE LEFT BANK
Today I took the Metro to the Pont des Arts and walked along the Seine and then across the pedestrian bridge to the left bank where I walked through the narrow streets between Rue de Seine and Rue Bonaparte. There was art gallery after art gallery and many small boutique stores and sidewalk cafes with elegant people everywhere.
