VARANASI
On my 84 1/2 birthday as winter wears on and on in Swannanoa with occasional warmer days such as today, I would like to make this February walk from the Assi Ghat along the stone steps of ghat after ghat beside the river Ganga to Desasvamedh Ghat. The colors are so bright and there is so much activity as you walk through the hand made imagination of Indian life.
